If I'm reading the Constitution correctly.......Doesn't Congress have the power of the purse?

Obama has never passed a budget. He's signed continuing resolutions for his entire time in office. The sad thing is that he could not pass a budget when he had control of both houses. You'd think that he could have taken the same approach to a budget that he did with Obamacare....but I guess not.

Again...Congress has the power of the purse; the President does not pass legislation.

Further, by definition, a continuing resolution is a budget.

You need to make up your mind how your going to place the blame. You cant seem to figure that one out yet.

You want to blame bush for everything in his term, then when people use the same tactic on obama, you want to blame congress, but then when its pointed out to you that congress was dem from 2006-2010 you want to go on and tell me about filibusters again LOL so Im gonna tell you now. If the dem prez cant get stuff done even with all this, apparently they just cant get anything done no matter what and dont need to be in office.

I think I've been pretty clear about which branch of the government I blame the most. In fact, I've tried for several days to drill it into your head. You claim to "now" understand what a filibuster is but still can't seem to process the significance it has on the power of a simple majority.
