As you know, the Scott administration instituted a 5-7 year waiting period for felons to wait after their release. That is to protect the public and assure those felons applying are not likely to re-offend.

So your headline is still a lie.

Who in your family, or is it you who is the felon?

You're starting to sound as unhinged as the Trumpetster! I continue to be of the opinion that any wait at all to reinstate voting rights is just crazy.

How in the world would withholding voting rights protect the public? This just does not make any sense.

I have never felt any fear of voting felons have you? Give them back their rights immediately upon finishing their sentences. Have the voter registration form in their discharge packet. What harm could they do or what threat do they pose by being able to vote?

Still waiting to hear exactly what the public needs protection from re felons voting. Are they going to become so civic minded that they're going to start their own political party? Are they going to register people to vote? Are they going to come out in favor of solar energy? What is the fear Markle?

It's just more progression to find the lowest social common denominator.

Lord forbid that humans actually suffer consequences of bad decisions.

By "lowest social common denominator" you mean what exactly?

Whatever happened to the notion of "paying your debt to society" as referring to the jail time?

Still waiting to find out why we should be afraid of letting felons who have served their time vote. How does this make sense? To whose advantage is it?

It cannot be justified.
