I broke my promise not to watch the convention.....I can sum up Donald Trump by how he proposed to fix the student loan crisis.....I am going to fix it........

I also watched it...... Was that venue in Cleveland in 2016, or Nuremberg in 1934???? You may as well put a swastika on Trump's arm, because he looked like the perfect Nazi tonight.

At least twice tonight, Trump referred to things that have gone on for "the last 15 years..." He tried to pin various ills on Hillary Clinton, who was not president during any of the last 15 years, and failed to mention that George W. Bush was POTUS for half those 15 years.... Hillary Clinton did not start the foreign military interventions for "the last 15" years Trump referred to--it was Dumbya who invaded Iraq and Afghanistan.

True to Republican form, Trump is going to massively cut taxes while building a bigger military than we already have. How will he do this without running bigger deficits than Obama has? His speech, BTW, mentioned nothing about deficit-reduction.

He made promises tonight he will never, ever keep.....

It was pure fascism directed to a scared, fearful, white population. It was not inclusive and it was angry. My wife played Bunko with a bunch of her friends this evening and she was disgusted by how many women hate President Obama and love Trump.....pure racism......which when she queries them they cannot articulate anything beyond Hillary needs to go to jail. It is Orwellian doublethink and propaganda which is really quite mind blowing.........

Plenty of falsehoods were perpetuated by Trump last night. Especially glaring was when he tried to blame the foreign military interventions of the last 15 years on the Democrats. The idiot George W. Bush was the one who instigated the foreign military interventions, beginning in 2001 and 2003.

The neocons are having a chit fit..........this guy is so off the wall he is talking about making our military great again, but not wanting to engage the same.......they needed someone making Iran an immediate threat requiring America to bomb them.......Marco and Cruz were their boyz and Cruz got booed off the stage.....and Marco in typical no show fashion sent a video......what a cluster F......but in the heartland.....fascism and fear sell......anger is seen as strength, and President Obama's steady intelligent patient hand is seen as weakness.......stupid is hard to fix, and I have shown the IQ map of America and where this crap is selling is among low IQ voters.......whipped into a frenzy of fear and hate.
