60 minutes

Anyone watching 60 minutes? The polio virus has been proven to kill other cancers, including skin, prostate, pancreatic and several others. This was an update on the Duke University trials last year. The FDA is putting this on fast track.

I guess they'll have to refigure social security again... or shut it down somehow. (that's for Teo... lol)

That was a mind blowing story.
They've somehow managed to modify the polio virus so that it can't replicate inside the body and that makes it harmless as far as the polio goes. But the modified virus attaches to the cancerous tumor and because of that the body's immune system will then attack the tumor thinking it's attacking the polio virus. Ingenious.

I believe within the next ten years we are probably going to see very dramatic advance in dealing with cancer. It won't come in time for me but it will for so many who come after. I wish I had been born ten years later.
