Apparently, the kid (who attends Navarre HS) attended a Nike-sponsored football camp last summer, arriving with no star-rating attached to his name. He was such a standout during the camp that he now has 36 scholarship offers and is being courted by a number of Division 1 schools.

I love to see stories like this--young people who want something so badly that they work their butts off to get it.

Makes you wonder what these high school coaches are doing.....this kid should have been spotlighted by his coach.

I had one of my AAU players being watched by scouts when she was playing in high school. The night the s
College scouts came to watch her play....the coach only played her one quarter. She was a player that always played the majority of the game.

She did not need the athletic scholarship....she and 5 of my fornmer players received academic scholarships.

I like his individual drive and success in his academics. He has a bright future.

Clemson has a great player from Navarre High School, Jordan Leggett.
