This is how the ME governs . . . . . quite shocking by western standards but very effective.

If this doesn't work,  and causes the Saud clan to be a bigger target for overthrow,  all they have to do is fall back on plan A which is to keep paying protection money to the jihaders. 
Unfortunately,  the protection money they paid in the past ended up financing 9/11.

I don't care what they do to their own people within their own countries ... just don't apply it to Westerners & don't bring it over here.
