Americans overwhelming want no part of it. 75% of Americans are clear. NO. However, what arrogance of other nations who think American kids are disposable and our wealth is unlimited. They talk the same game that our traitors do. That we have a perfect policy which is more bombing and a 100k Americans will perfect. Nonsense. That fairy tale has to be killed in its inception. The scared impatience of people being manipulated by these other nations, must be exposed. We need to get out of the Middle East. We need to quit fighting others battles. Enough with the idea that we must invade to succeed. We succeed by executing Reagan's strategy of cut and run. Let the French or Russians put boots on the ground.

Nobody said we are going to fight in Syria except your potus who already put 50 SOF and a butt ton of support personnel in harm's way.

The issue is obummer bringing in unvtted Syrians as refugees setting up another Paris attack.

You are in the twilight zone. The majority of the Republican candidates are talking about boots on the ground, and expanded presence in the Middle East. Rand Paul has been clear he is not one of them. The President is doing what the American people want him to do. He has kept his promise, but somehow the low IQ folks think that it is a failure of strategy to be attacked by ISIS when any thinking American understands that there will be terrorist attacks now, next year, and a decade from now. Powerless and hopeless people will use the weapon of terrorism as certain as the sun will rise. Killing more innocents only fuels that fire.

Our government's policy in the middle east is like if the Pensacola Police Department decided to send swat teams into South Chicago with the intent of killing gangbangers.

Would that stop the gang killings in South Chicago.  Somehow I don't think so.

And if the Pensacola Police Department set up bases of operation in South Chicago and stayed for decades,  would would be the result?
The City of Pensacola would go broke and not have any money to spend on more productive things.  And the gangbangers would probably come to Pensacola to get revenge.

Notice that he doesn't ask obama this question.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Monday revealed the following;

76% of Americans are opposed to the deployment of regular ground troops in Syria.

65% of Americans are opposed to the deployment of special forces personnel in Syria.

A slim majority of Americans support air strikes.

But, a solid 60% want a more aggressive U.S. military response.

Sounds about right.

As you know,  that's a biased liberal progressive poll controlled by semi-retired President Barack Hussein Obama that only my good friends you progressives go by.
Don't bother me unless you can show me a Bill O'Reilly poll.  The only unbiased poll is the one you see mentioned by Talking Points in the No-Spin Zone on The Factor.

France, and the rest of the peaceful world, needs the help of the might and power of the US military to REALLY make progress against ISIS.

We need to change our rules of engagement and we can launch a thousand sorties a day instead of a half dozen or so. Worse still, due to the obscene rules of engagement, three out of ever four planes launched, come back with the full load of bombs and weapons.

Reagan withdrew the troops from Lebanon because he had already been responsible for the deaths of 241 Marines and because 1984 was an election year. That it turned out to be the right strategy was incidental. The only reason Reagan wasn't impeached over Iran/Contra is that the GOP conducted a massive PR campaign and let Ollie North take the fall. And don't forget who Ronnie Raygun's Veep was.

What a load of shit. Russia, france, and the countries directly involved are more than capable of solving this problem.

MUCH more capable in fact than obama and his half-assed measures.

I have a feeling if ISIS can get a bomb on a Russian airliner and then only a few weeks later pull off the the Paris massacre,  then it's only a matter of time before they do something inside the U.S. and could be fairly soon.
Or maybe take out an airliner coming to the U.S.

Hermann Goering,
Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.

That's good reasoning.   But sometimes it's not a matter of "telling them they're being attacked".
Sometimes it's like Paris.  Or 9/11.  Or on a Metrojet airliner.  And then they don't really need to be told they're being attacked.  lol

By the way,  Steve Jobs' father was an immigrant from Syria.

Once again obviously for the VERY slow.

This is 2015. Semi-retired President Obama has made a SNAFU of epic proportions. It will take decades to straighten out this catastrophe.
