Claiming Tarantino is a cop hater for his stand against killer cops, the big police unions are now threatening action against the film maker.
The truth is, Tarantino's statements make it clear he isn't against law enforcement officers -- he's only against cops who murder unarmed suspects. The cop unions don't care. Obviously, from their point of view, all cops -- murderers included -- deserve full public support.
While there's some doubt that Tarantino's anti killer-cop stance would have markedly increased the number of Americans who distrust and fear the cops they must face, there is no doubt whatsoever the harsh reaction of the police unions will indeed increase our population of cop haters.
