Big time...truck isn't even in area allegedly...then they want to hurry and get the deal done due to a transfer that is impending, will even pay shipping from where the truck allegedly is...Nellis AFB.

Seriously???

So, I am still in search of a decent, beater truck....

I would never in a million years buy any used car or truck off craigslist without eyeballing it in person.  Same with Carmax or eBay or anything else.
That is a recipe for disaster.

I have a friend who used eBay to buy two vehicles,  both from car dealers.
And his son bought one, also from a dealer.
All three were bought without looking at them.  My friend had car haulers deliver both to him.  And his son flew to Connecticut to pick his up in person.
The first one my friend bought was as described,  the second one not.
And his son,  after giving the dealer a deposit,  flew up to find a rust bucket and the dealer didn't want to give him the deposit back so he flew back home and it cost him the deposit and two one-way plane fares.
That's 1 for 3.  I don't like those odds.
