HomeEnd of times planning. I have hated the Chicago Cubs and always been a White Sox fan, but even I have to say this is probably the youngest successful baseball team in seventy five years. Amazing.

They're in a tough division
I think it is the toughest division in baseball this year. St. Louis is the best team in the majors, and Pirates are not far behind. There has never been a team with four rookies getting significant playing times which has this winning percentage. They continue to get better and I have heard management say they were on a five year plan.....hell, they are there this year. Incredible what knowlegeable baseball people can accomplish.

Joe Maddon is a great baseball manager.
It was amazing what he was able to do with the Rays considering their payroll and turnover.

Any division with the Cardinals is tough. They are the second most successful franchise in league history.
