China and Russia to Conduct another Joint Military Exercise

A historical weak alliance with large distrust and a history of conflict along the sino/soviet border which almost resulted in a nuclear engagement at Lop Nor, in graduate school I examined this border and the historic conflicts.  If China ever was to become a military power, the exercise of that power only has a few avenues, and Russia is directly in the way.  More show than any serious threat to anybody.
