I had a friend's brother who was hiking alone in Alaska get attacked by a grizzly and he had photographed the very bear who killed him.  When you go into a wilderness area with large predators, and human predators, combined with incredible dangerous landscape where a body could lie for years without discovery......some people are not coming out.
