the Sun and the planets themselves are physically changing at an accelerated pace. Most notably, they are undergoing major changes in their atmospheres.

since 1901 the overall magnetic field of the Sun has become stronger by 230 percent.

If the field is stronger the most likely explanation is that the core is spinning faster. Unlikely.

Alternately the solar system itself could be passing thorough some sort of magnetic field causing the suns field to increase... Though I would expect the magnetic fields of Earth, Jupiter, and other planets, to experience the same sort of increase if that was happening.
