Screw Amerika Inc.!  Corporate control of our government through campaign financing.

I signed the petition but have considerations about the group. I agree that we have to bypass congress since it is basically a corporate congress (to use a phrase from a series we're watching) and will not vote against their own best interests regardless of what that is doing to the country.

Here is a link to a group that has been working for a long time at a grass roots level. I think they are quite realistic and are on the right track. They have held meetings in the P'cola area. I know people who have attended. This is the only way we will get corporate and foreign money out of our politics.

Legalize democracy.
