Stupid will not be cured in the short term.  I gave up on medical pot when I was told as a cancer patient I had to be fingerprinted like a common criminal.  The stupidity of our laws in this country concerning pot are going to take years to finally move stupid out of the way......They can take a flying F at a rolling doughnut before I get fingerprinted to take medicine when I can just ask and get the most addictive pain pills in the world which can damage a liver......and all I need is the docs script.......insanity.

http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/health/Illinois-Medical-Marijuana-Rules-Unveiled-241356631.html

To use medical marijuana in Illinois, patients would be fingerprinted, undergo a background check and pay $150 a year to get a special photo ID under proposed regulations.

Oat I think those are the requirements in most all the states that have approved it for medicinal use.

thanks knot.

This link says marijuana either legal or medicinal is polling better than any presidential candidate in 2015

This is a process in evolution . . . . . from taboo to acceptance . . . . . young people in our society have had their lives ruined for being prosecuted for possessing and/or using Mary Jane . . . . insane . . . . . . yes when I was young I inhaled but the sky didn't fall and it was essentially a non event. I am for a decriminalization where it is synonymous with having a six pack. I hope it passes . . .

I figured you wouldn't sign it pd and frankly don't care, but I bet you will use it when the VA finally starts prescribing it for your ailments down the road and yes the VA is coming closer.

Why has the governor of Colorado said it was a bad idea to pass their marijuana law?

If I remember correctly he said he loved the revenue, but they were not ready to go, no where to deposit the money, could not purchase with credit and debit cards. He did not like the fact it was strictly a cash business.

As far as you and PD go you seem to be for government out of our life's but yet you want to withhold a harmless plant and continue to let the government control this. I'll bet your both agin internet gambling also and land based casino's. You can't have your conservative views (less govt) and flip flop to meet your needs. It's one or the other. You're as bad as politician's.

The republicans/conservatives/right-wingers/wingnuts or whatever it is they're called,   who say out of one side of their mouths they want the government out of our lives,  are the same ones who always want government IN our lives just so long as government is forcing rules on us THEY WANT.
Terry Schiavo was exactly the same thing.

It's so blatantly hypocritical that it makes me think they don't really believe that stuff they preach about government making too many of the decisions for us we should be allowed to make for ourselves.
Looks to me like they either don't really comprehend,  or even worse they don't even really care,  about that "less government" thing.  It's now just a string of meaningless words they've latched onto which are continuously beaten into their brains by the right-wing political and media celebrities.

You're right they only want govt in our life's if it's something they agree with.

Do not blame true Republicans. The bat chit Dixiecrats have taken over the party and like a bad tooth......it is hurting this country and they need to be extracted, but all we have is a string and a doorknob, what we need is a dentist or oral surgeon to extract this element from the Republican Party when it has nothing to do with principles but who among special interests can buy them off. Traitors and bandits. I simply do not have an answer on how the Grand Old Party can extract this evil element and start fighting for main street business interests, median income gains, and fiscal responsibility. 300 billion for five thousand families......these folks are evil.

Oh yes they can.... They love big government, so long as big government does the big government programs they favor. In fact, they would be for even bigger big government, so long as it was a conservatively oriented one that did stuff they liked.

I signed up and sent some money. This is important.

Marijuana is harmless an should be legal. On the other hand tobacco is very dangerous and is legal but should be illegal.
