He was injured in a swimming accident. I had two close friends who were in wheelchairs from the same type of accident. That's why they say, "feet first, first time." They dove into shallow water head first...as he did. Maybe he has a brain injury as well.

He also bet he could strike out Vince DiMaggio four times in one game. He struck him out his first three at-bats, but when DiMaggio hit a popup behind the plate at his fourth, Dean screamed at his catcher, "Drop it!, Drop it!" It figures that a guy who hasn't the sense to recognize that the water he's about to dive into headfirst might be shallow or masking a big rock, would be one of the Republican's most idolized pundits and most honored political consultants.
