Panetta is right. The republican-led congress has to act whacko in order to keep much of its base. Led by white male racists and extreme Christian terrorists (T-party) that base makes demands that guarantee racial, religious, political and economic rancor and division.

Claiming they are 100% for defending America's freedoms, the whackos are themselves so divided they are seemingly unable to continue funding for Homeland Security. Go figure ....

Uh, Congress didn't have a crap rating until the Dems got the reigns of the entire government. Panetta isn't ranking the current Congress haters.

You Lie. One of the worst Congresses ever elected was the one elected in 2002. The Shrub had both a GOP House and Senate for four years. The people were not impressed and got fed-up and gave both Houses to the Democrats in 2006.
