Thanks, I have heard of that story, Knothead, but not seen any video. Israeli pilots are superb. I wonder if that aircraft was repairable, or if it was retired?

Edited: It was repaired! It went on to shoot down another Syrian fighter after this incident.

In case you didn't watch it till the end the pilot stated he would have ejected early on if he knew his wing was missing but the escaping fuel vapors obstructed his view concealing the extent of the catastrophic damage.
