Why aren't Christians Communists? Jesus Was!

I never heard Jesus tell anyone that they couldn't be rich.

No you didn't.  You never heard Jesus say anything. Actually there are several places in the Bible where Jesus and/or God alleges that the rich will find it considerably harder than poor people to enter heaven.
