Execution Date Set for Pensacola Murderer

January 15th, Johnny Shane Kormondy goes to the death gurney.

His crimes included home invasion, raping the wife of the house, and murdering her husband. He had accomplices, but apparently, he was the leader of the gang. Apparently, he threatened to kill witnesses and the wife of the house if he was ever released.

I remember the incident.......I wish him a painful death.

I remember when it happened too. This was a horrible, horrible crime.

Why does it take so long ?...It's a business, makes those in the business a LOT of money...

Think about some of the people who have been released from prison after decades, when it turns out they were wrongfully convicted. If we had executed them faster . . . then what?

It takes so long because there are so many in that same legal community you spoke of who are absolutely opposed to capital punishment and they're able to delay it.

Think about some of the people who have been released from prison after decades, when it turns out they were wrongfully convicted. If we had executed them faster . . . then what?
