If the pubs take the senate it will be interesting to see if he can garner any influence.

There's a fatal flaw to Randy's Domino's analogy.
Domino's may have changed their crust recipe, but their pizza still sucks.
That's because their core customers like sucky pizza.
They cannot fundamentally change their product without losing those core customers.
The Repukes have the same problem.
Their base digs all the shitty characteristics that define the party today.
They cannot fundamentally change their brand without losing their base.
This has come into sharp focus throughout the past several election cycles.
