I may have to watch Texas A&M at South Carolina, but may also have to follow Temple at Vanderbilt. Both are being televised on the new SEC Network, and Tim Tebow will likely be making his debut as a football analyst at one of those two games. He now works for the new SEC Network as an analyst.

The Idaho at Florida game will also be a statement (or not). Will Muschamp MUST turn his team around this season if he wants to keep his job. Jeff Driskell will return as starting QB. He threw a lot of interceptions before he broke his leg and was sidelined last season. They have a new Offensive Coordinator--we will see if the new system helps.

Louisville is new to t he ACC for football. The last time FSU played Louisville was also on a Thursday night, at Louisville, on September 26, 2002. Louisville beat them, 26-20 in double overtime. It was not one of QB Chris Rix's most memorable performances. It did not help that it rained the whole game.

Texas A&M destroyed South Carolina on the road tonight. The score was 52-28. The game broke Steve Spurrier's 18 game home winning streak, and it was his first loss of a home opener since the late 1980s, when he coached at Duke.

Johnny Manziel's replacement (Kenny Hill) is another dual-sport athlete (football and baseball) like Jameis Winston is. The kid is awesome and will take the Aggies very far. If they continue to play like this, you will see them in the playoff at the season's end.
