At 11:22 a.m. on Friday,the motorist was driving her white Toyota 4Runner SUV in north Philadelphia when the two men forced her at gunpoint into the back seat and drove the vehicle into an intersection, striking a crowd of pedestrians,police said. The 10-year-old boy was prounounced dead at the scene.

"Something obviously went horribly wrong at this intersection," Homicide Capt. James Clark said. "The vehicle went out of control,striking these five individuals."

The two men fled on foot,according to police.

"These suspects are to be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by members of the public," the police department wrote on its Facebook page.

Using liberal logic it's the motorist's fault for making the SUV available.

We probably need laws limiting who can own SUV's because they are inherently dangerous and can be used to kill people.

The SUV owner was held hostage in the back of the vehicle when the kids were run over. I wonder how lawyers might navigate the liability path here? Sue her or her insurance company?

How about the following for the carjacking murderers.

1. Loss of all voting rights for the rest of their life.
2. Confiscation of all personal goods to be sold and used for the families of the victims.
3. Lose of all property and the right to own property in the future.
4. They are branded on the forehead with the initials CJ/M (Car Jacking / Murderer) and any attempt to remove the brand or cover it up is a criminal violation.
5. They also get run over by the same SUV or a model of the same make after the trial and if they survive all that they do some time.

Is that good enough for starters?

That would certainly put the blame where it belongs. It's interesting that the leftists don't place blame on the gun here... or the reckless driving... but solely on the criminals committing a criminal act. Why isn't that the standard in boards thread?

There seems to be an unwillingness by them to reconcile that bad people do bad things unless the other options are overridden. The simple fact is that prohibiting law abiding citizens from guns/acts will never stop crazy/criminals from the same.

Their logic is fatally flawed.
