Finally, these bastards can pay the American public with our money......but at least we are getting some of it back.

My takeaway is that although $7B sounds like big money, Citi's earnings in 2013 were $14B, and that's just one year's earnings.

Earlier this week Well Fargo announced its recent quarterly earnings - $5.7B.

While I'm for the free market, these big bank's earnings seem excessive.
