I have to try the grapes.....the wife will get piszed.....but I think I can convince her I thought I could make raisins.

You can probably make raisins in a 175 degree oven. If you think you have to.

My wife would faint to see me in the kitchen.......I have not used a microwave in two months.

I told someone they could dry their wet pack of cigarettes by microwaving them. I really don't know why I thought that was true. I was wrong. Fortunately the fire was contained inside the microwave.

I didn't own a microwave until 1984. They are handy for heating things up. Once we got the microwave, I stopped pan-frying bacon. Microwaved popcorn is good. I don't like microwaved whole potatoes as a replacement for baked potatoes. Some vegetables prepared in the microwave are good.

But as a complete replacement for a stove or oven, a microwave falls short.
