Disney's Frozen

Spent yesterday with a three year old and a five year old who insisted watching Frozen for the 20th time.....they know each character's name and are in love with this movie.......Disney has quite the formula. I was playing Poker monday night and had to listen to 30 year old men talk about the Lion King and the little mermaid, and sing the fricking theme songs.......strange game of poker, but then I thought about Fantasia, and 101 dalmations and how much I enjoyed the same as a kid.......the formula works for every generation.

I finally watched it with my granddaughter. The hero is so much like my SIL. He resembles him physically, but the character is so much like his personality it's uncanny.

I hate that movie. I did not find that movie appropriate for young children.

There are a ton of hidden adult inappropriate gestures.

I'm sick to death of LOVE SCENES and animated dolly pardon like people in KIDS MOVIES.

This movie is a FAD btw, for young adults.

I hate that movie.

This is like two thumbs up from Siskel and Ebert.

Sure all those for a 5 year old

That's what's wrong with society we don't let kids be kids we introduce them to SEX and ROMANCE at age 5

I found the movie inspiring, and my granddaughter did as well. At the basis of the story is the devotion of two sisters. How did you miss that?

I watched the Lion King practically every night for about two and a half years with my son.

He had a bucket of those little plastic animals, and we'd dump them out, arrange them in a semicircle on the floor around the upturned bucket, put his Simba figure on top of the bucket, and yell ....

"AHHHH SAY HENYAAAA BABA BEE SE BABAAAAA, SAY HENYYAAAAAA…. HUMMMMMMMM!!!"

He got the biggest kick out of that.

I didn't miss that.

My problem was with all the subliminal messages hidden in it.

I think romance novels is a bit much for 5 year olds. sorry.

Damn. Now I'm going to have to watch it.

The visuals alone are fabulous.

I do not know about subliminal messages, but I do know about the imaginations of three and five year old girls who want to be a princess........they absolutely love this movie, and the daughter is making braided ponies for both of them as they play princess.
