The rainy weather caused the cancellation.

It will not be rescheduled.

I'm no fan of baseball but I still hate it for everyone who was looking forward to seeing the big leagues come to our little town.

That's a tough break. I wish they could have got the game off. CMPA has had a couple of bad breaks. Maybe next year.

I don't know about the game but they set off a ton of fireworks. I thought a civil war had broken out in Brownsville.

It seems like everytime they schedule a big event there the bottom falls out, remember the grand opening when Charlie Daniels was going to play and how it rained that day also.

I have argued that once Biloxi gets built out that Mobile, Biloxi, and Pensacola would be great locations for the Reds, St. Louis, and say Kansas City could do their spring training. The fan Base would be looking at a less than 10 hour drive to spring training, but the problem is the month of March is one of rain, and they need the revenue, but they also need to get games completed so players can practice for the regular season. All three cities have ample hotels and beach resorts which would allow the fan base to enjoy a week beach vacation. I think somebody will try to make this fly.

I heard all that last night too but didn't even know who was doing it. It was coming from the direction of your house so I thought you were doing it.
