http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/03/21/1286421/-Charlie-Pierce-s-rant-to-the-odious-Bill-Kristol-is-a-thing-of-awesome-beauty?detail=email

Bill Kristol recently took to The Weekly Standard to lament that America has lost its taste for pointless wars. Insisting that peace is anathema to a strong and responsible America, Kristol chides the Obama Administration for not bombing the hell out of some unnamed country while taking Republicans to task for their complicity in all this peace-having.

"...Are Americans today war-weary? Sure. The Iraq and Afghanistan wars have been frustrating and tiring. Are Americans today unusually war-weary? No. They were wearier after the much larger and even more frustrating conflicts in Korea and Vietnam. And even though the two world wars of the last century had more satisfactory outcomes, their magnitude was such that they couldn’t help but induce a significant sense of war-weariness. And history shows that they did.
So American war-weariness isn’t new. Using it as an excuse to avoid maintaining our defenses or shouldering our responsibilities isn’t new, either. But that doesn’t make it admirable..."

Responding to Wrongway Kristol, Charlie Pierce takes this warmongering psychopath to the woodshed in one of the most righteous rants to come down the pike in some time.

Blow me, you monstrous, bloodthirsty fraud, you silly, stupid chickenhawk motherfker who plays army man with the children of people who are so much better than you are, and who would feed innocent civilians in lands you will never visit into your own personal meatgrinder to service your semi-annual martial erection.
You and the rest of your cowardly cohort helped prepare the ground for the worst geopolitical mistake the country has made in 30 years. You fought the battle of the Green Rooms and the think tanks while other people's sons and daughters died for your fantasy of how the world would work if you really were the pimply, adolescent Zeus you see when you look in the mirror every morning.

The country does not need your lectures any more. The country does not need your counsel. The country does not need your advice. And, as sure as human beings have become dead because of your lectures, and counsel, and advice, human beings about whom you otherwise care nothing, the country does not need your hectoring that it has become insufficiently bellicose to fulfill your newest, blood-drenched fantasies.

Even here, even now, you hide behind the skirts of a woman from Indiana who, while I believe her to be wrong, seems to be genuine in her beliefs. You are unworthy of her intellectual camouflage. You should be driven from polite society, consigned to an ideological Molokai so you can no longer infect the rest of us.

People should shun you. You should wear the bell for the rest of your miserable days.

Standing ovation to every single word you wrote slamming this sick little man, Mr. Pierce. It is high time this overrated, bloviating cyst on the ass of punditry was taken out with the trash. That Kristol and his like-minded cohorts still have a microphone after their cheerleading of the Bush Administration's spectacular blunders boggles the mind. It is shameful that it is even necessary for Pierce to point out that it was Kristol's disastrous neocon philosophy of endless conflict that brought us to our current state of war-weariness. Every time Kristol claps for more war, I hope Pierce and other responsible people who have a spotlight are right there to remind us of the blood this perverse man has on his hands.

Bill Kristol = Zionist Neocon Scum.

Oh, and he is a chickenhawk, just like most of the cheerleaders who sent young American men and women into the mistake called the Iraq War.

Hardly a chickenhawk.... he never dodged the draft unlike some Democrats. What pisses you off the most Z is that he went from Democrat to Republican. He helped defeat Hillarycare as well.

Isn't that why he's a regular pundit on Fox News?

Highly irrelevant...he's not trying to start a new war. This, however, is relevant:
