According to this article the city has passed a domestic partnership registry that states "unmarried couples in Pensacola will be able to register as domestic partners and receive certain rights usually afforded only to married people."
My question is this: Doesn't a special power of attorney afford these same things?
$60 to the city for each couple that registers.
