Here we have President Barack Hussein Obama debating Gov. Mitt Romney about...Russia.

Progressives don't remember when they ridiculed Sarah Palin about raising the future issue of Russia attempting to take of the Ukraine.

Here we have President Obama caving to the Russians and telling them he'll have more flexibility AFTER the elections.  Then they can do what they want.

Yesterday (1/28/2014) President Barack Hussein Obama made his pathetically weak announcement about Russia sending troops to the Ukraine and that there would be...COSTS   Laughing Laughing Laughing

Where did he go then? TO PARTY!  What a leader!  Or should we say...WHAT LEADER?

Does this boost Sarahs political capital so she can pretend to be a Presidential candidate at some time in the future? Obviously it does with serious wingnuts like Markle and PaceDog. Perhaps one of her ghost writers needs to write her another book......

The U.S. meddling in the Ukraine and telling Russia to back off is akin to Russia meddling in Mexico and telling us not to interfere in Mexican affairs.

Hopefully, one day we will elect a non-establishment politician who will realize that the United States has no rights nor obligations to police the world. Not one American soldier needs to be sent to intervene in this fight.

The silliest part of this is that Markle, Romney, or the genius do not even understand what they have implied. Has the Ukraine or any former state of the Soviet Union become a place of critical American interest? The answer is a simple and firm no. Our policy since the breakup of the soviet union has been a wise hands off as those states strive for independence and democracy in the internal workings of the former soviet union. To suggest that America will respond to political or military action between those states would be not like Z talking about Russian intervention in Mexico, but rather Russian intervention in Arizona or Texas as they discuss leaving the union.

Now the best part of Mr. Markle's one dimension simplistic approach to foreign policy......which is anything short of a hot war is a sign of weakness. Sorry, go peddle your wars somewhere else. The CIA is actively working in Ukraine as are most of the intelligence agencies of NATO to sway the Ukraine to the west. Nothing as silly as sabre rattling is necessary, and once again, Mr. Markle, and the Genius will be completely and utterly wrong. Additionally, we are working with democratic groups within Russia itself, and Putin does not fear our armies and threats of the same, he fears our democracy and how it will next consume his silly munchkin tough guy act, and bring an end to the political corruption which was amply displayed by who and how the Sochi games were built.

Oh by the way......those who understand foreign policy and are not in a daycare center arguing over leggos, understand the brilliance of the President's approach and where he is putting Putin. The more aggressive he gets in Ukraine, the more at risk he becomes by his own people in Russia.........the threat of military action can be discussed at nap time Mr. Markle. Also, Putin wisely has done symbolic actions only in Crimea, this was not by accident. Putin understands what our daycare folks do not.

Well said, Seaoat. However, the short-bus folks are going to be rankled at you for being so blunt with them on this....  bounce

The
POTUS approach to foreign policy is to stick his finger in the air and head in the sand.
