In a fragmented Democratic Party torn increasingly apart by its ravenously progressive young liberal base, Vice President Joe Biden could mount a "serious" campaign for the presidency in 2016. This according to the Washington Post, which details the makings of a Democratic civil war between moderates and progressives.

nope. Hillary will waltz to the White House, but anything is possible, just not probable.

That would be a terrible idea. This might be a good time to read her ideas and rationals. Luckily there is a record.

I see no Democratic primary battle. None, other than a couple fruitcakes which is expected in either party's presidential primaries, but I think the
Democrats realize that there will be at least three Democratic or centrist justices retiring from the Supreme Court and that with what is happening in Ohio where voter machines, voting hours, and other voter suppression techniques which turned away 170k voters in the last election have been signed by the governor recently.....there is no room for the type of civil war the Republicans are now experiencing. Hillary will be the nominee. The VP selection will be critical.

I vote Republican and have never voted for a Democrat for President. My choice would be Chris Christie with Susan Collins as his vp. The only way to take back the Republican Party from the Crazies is to run traditional Republicans who care about the middle class. If Christie does not gain traction, I would love to see Susan Collin's Maine common sense as a female candidate to run against Hillary. I think both ladies would teach men how to run a civil campaign focused on the issues. If Collins was the nominee, I would take Kirk as her running mate, but I do not think his health would allow the vigor of a national campaign.

It does not matter Hillary cannot be beat.

There may not be enough wingnuts to overcome the avalanche that will follow Mrs. Clinton. My suggestion to the GOP is to only run someone who is electable. It should not be a member of the Tea Party crazies you guys like so much. Instead, it should be a Republican moderate--the only way the GOP gets the Whitehouse back in 2016.

whats the point of having the white house if the person who is in it doesn't do the things you feel are for the betterment of the country? isn't that why we elect people? you know elections are not a game of football, where we won is simply enough for me.

as I age and my children age, all these laws and how the country is effected mean more and more to me.

im not so sure what is wrong with some of these people you call crazy tea party... what is crazy about these people?

Well, go ahead and run the Rubio/Cruz ticket in 2016 and count how many electoral votes those two bring in. They won't carry enough states to win, for sure (unless the GOP engages in heavy electioneering--meaning vote-stealing, etc.)

I don't know who I want to vote for yet. The only thing I am sure of is, I don't want another socialist and I wouldnt mind Obamacare being repealed if that is possible.

and I don't want to hear about the GOP stealing elections, if they could have trust me, they would have stole 2012 for sure. they might have even had some counties with more than 100% of people voting for them lol

I thought the snake handling preacher who just died from snakebite was a perfect Republican candidate. I felt sure he could beat any one EXCEPT a candidate that would come out of a clown car. Now both partys will have to regroup. Oh frabjous day! Callu calay!
