Creating threads...

Some of you appear to have already figured this out. In order to create a new thread, you must click the icon that reads "nouveau". I'm not sure why the icon says that. I'm guessing maybe it means "new topic" in some other language. Hopefully I can change that after some tinkering around in the options. Just giving everyone a heads up.

I'm pretty sure "nouveau" is French for "new."

This was from back when I first created the forum (note the post date from the original post).

For probably the first year of this forum, the "New Post" button was in french. I never figured out how to fix that either. It eventually just corrected on its own.

BOF, to change the buttons used on the forum this is how you accomplish this.

1. Go to you Administration Panel
2. Click on the "Display" tab at the top of the forum.
3. If not already in the "Advanced" mode, select "Advanced"
4.Click on "Buttons"
5. Find the button you want to change, upload the forum button you would like to use and install it.

That's all there is too it.

How is someone able to bump an old thread without making a new post?

My guess is he was bored and started searching for old threads and just started replying. All you have to do is simply reply to any old thread.
