Randy Paul is on TV saying that paying unemployment benefits weakens America. Where or how does someone so scatter brained get elected to the senate. This guy throws ten turds on the wall and one sticks and people rally around that turd. Sorry, in the next year five million Americans are going to get hurt, and the American economy is going to be derailed......November 2014 cannot get here soon enough.

whats wrong no faith in the economy that youre already predicting ahead that 5 million will be off unemployment and not working?

maybe they will be off of it and employed? that's a good thing, right?

You are correct. The five million projection is based on current unemployment numbers. If unemployment drops, the number will be less, but when good people are not able to pay their rent, groceries, and basic consumer goods it has a huge impact on the GDP and can cause this fragile recovery to tumble.

The economy was retracting 5% and now is growing at 4%......President Obama has done a solid job on getting this economy going. However, the House is willing to hurt Americans and America to slow down economic growth. We are dealing with traitors.

Since 1982 under President Reagan we have continually lowered our tax rates and our debt rose proportionally. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that government requires revenue. Our cuts went too far, and fighting two ten year wars off budget plunged this nation into debt. All while the median income of this country tumbled. Finally, President Obama is reversing 30 years of mistakes. It really is this simple.

The economy is improving despite our traitors in our country who work for special interests not the American people. A 9% swing in GDP and we can only hope that 2014 flushes the traitors out of office and Americans begin working on 80% of the legislation where there is need and agreement. The traitors will not win.
