n the BB gun investigation, Tallahassee police records show officers were called to the Legacy Suites apartments on Nov. 27, 2012, two days after management said 13 windows had been damaged by players shooting at one another.

Both Winston and his roommate at the time, defensive end Chris Casher, told officers the next day that they had been involved in a series of "battles" involving other FSU players that had been going on for a month. They denied shooting any BB guns themselves but said someone threw eggs at their window and shot at them with a paintball launcher.

Police found BBs littering the ground and saw windows in several apartments with small holes.

It's really disappointing that we see a series of poor decisions... he had to know the scrutiny he would be under.

I hope these things aren't indicative of a train wreck and that if the events don't rise to criminal already... he can learn.

But that isn't the usual pattern. Perhaps it would be best if the consequences caught up to him sooner rather than later.

What a waste.

These new allegations are typical frat boy shenanigans. 


Nobody would care if he didn't have a bullseye on his back. 


The sexual assault allegation is much more serious, but sounds like it might come down to he said she said.

If this was not an issue of timing, my question would be then why did the DA and the investigators sat on this thing since December? It does seem to come down to he said/she said. Inconsistent description of the perp by the victim, consensual, and who know what else?

Btw... Sry about your packers today Joni. Those damn lions finally started clicking again. They've played like they were scared to win ever since beating the bears. I wish they would play like today into the playoffs... but I don't think they will. Irritating.

Edit: The good news is Rodgers will back for you next week they say... that dude isn't afraid to win.

That's been fair criticism in some instances... but suh today could've gotten the safety and hurt your qb... he didn't.

The lion defense is very physical... it's smash mouth... I'll give you that. But I don't think they are dirty. There'd be a flag every play in this day and age. I don't know what the answer is to the toll it takes on the players... they haven't even addressed the offensive player lowering his head yet. I see that all of the time. I think that's how I hurt my neck... but I played d also until hs.

I didn't hear the entire interview....only clips and commentary. It was brutal.

Can't wait until next week with my disccount double check man back in charge.

Don't think that the University and Jimbo don't know the real story of what happened because I am sure they do and have known for some time. If the allegations were remotely true, then his ass would be on the bench and more than likely off the team just like Greg Dent whose case is still pending. If anybody follows any Tallahassee "talk" the story is out there, but the media will nit-pick this story to death because to them, it is all about ratings. It is unfortunate that there are two people that are both being dragged through the coals. Even if he is charged that doesn't mean he is guilty, but there are a lot of unknowns yet, but Winston will be cleared of any wrongdoing.

Being an FSU alumnus, of course I am thrilled about the NOLES this year, but if he is GUILTY, then let him face a jury of ones peers. Just don't assume guilt when there are facts unknown. WOW, that sounds familiar! Even if a jury decided guilty when anyone is actually innocent, there are other options! What kills me the most is that "man" rape does occur but this silent crime is rarely ever mentioned.
