The Cardinal is punching the Ducks straight up in the teeth at this point.

Billybob, or Jimmyjoe, or Rickybobby, or whatever the name of that FSU coach is, he must be happy at this point.

26-20, Stanford. Looks like FSU moves up to #2 this week. Maybe Alabama/FSU for the crystal football in January?

FSU deserved the spot regardless. Had a great night watching this game with a bunch of FSU fans. Early on in the season I was convinced that Oregon could handle - or, at least hang with - Alabama. But after seeing how Oregon struggled with UCLA, hahahahaha.

The PAC12 has no real athletes. FSU is stacked, athletically, just like Alabama. Anyone who watches college football on a regular basis could see that there was nothing that would come out of the PAC12 that passed the eye test after seeing that UCLA game.

I was really interested in watching this game, simply because Alabama plays the exact same scheme as Stanford. In my mind, I thought "Well, this will at least be a good barometer to see how a team like Oregon would fare against a physical scheme like this."

FSU is even with Alabama in terms of athletic talent. It all comes down to scheme, and QB. QB typically wins the day, so I'm going to go ahead and say that FSU will handle Alabama with ease, simply due to an advantage at QB.

And there you have it.

What the hell happened tonight? It looked like Standford was playing the "Little Sisters of the Poor" the first 3 quarters.

I'll put it down now and say that FSU will win by 2 possessions or more.  And I'm a gator fan.  They simply have to much athletic talent, and an NFL ready QB.   If this were college basketball, we have a "one-and-done" vs an "accountant", and that "one and done" is surrounded by NFL talent and supported by NFL corners.

Johnny Football put up 42 with nothing but one WR and absolutely no offensive line or any defense. FSU has an arguably better QB, WRs, RBs, NFL ready corners. I don't see any scenario in which Alabama wins that game.

No... I agree w you. The great upset would've been oregon winning out. I'm still concerned about the fsu/uf game tho... the big rivalry games can be so unpredictable.

FSU was already #2 in the BCS poll. They leaped Oregon in the latest BCS poll that came out last Sunday. It does appear on the surface anyway that it will be Alabama/FSU for the BCS Championship. FSU has a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way except for the ACC Championship game which will probably be Miami again, and we all know how hard it is to beat the same team twice in one season.

Picture this scenario.... UF loses to Vandy this weekend, and Will Muschamp is fired on Monday. He continues to coach through the end of the season, like Ron Zook did in 2004. They go to Tallahassee to play FSU at home later this month, and Muschamp pulls-off what Zook managed to do in 2004, beating the 'Noles on their home turf. Stranger things have happened.....

It is a long shot, but this is a game I always follow.

Z-Man, sometimes with some of the posts you post, make me wonder if you even watch follow college football. First you stated that FSU would move to #2 when actually they are already #2, then you say that maybe they will go into Tallahassee and and beat FSU. Well as BOF said, the game is is being played at the Swamp this year.................Wink Wink lol!

Alabama better be concerned with LSU this weekend instead of looking forward to Auburn.

If Alabama looses to LSU or Auburn and FSU and OSU win out, we could be looking at a FSU/OSU BCS National Title Game.

I think michigan state has a legitimate shot at ohio state in the big ten championship game. I'd hate to see baylor get a shot tho. It will be disappointing if fsu/alabama aren't in the big game. I'm glad we'll have a playoff of sorts next year. Bout time.

Yeah.... I will eat crow on this one. I love college football, but have only watched one game this year. I end up sitting on the SI.com NCAA Football Scoreboard instead on Saturdays:

You can follow multiple games at once without being planted in front of the TV with this. I can surf the net and follow football all day. I guess this means I am glued to my PC, which is the truth....

I think fsu can take al... that's the championship game I'd like to see. Either team would kill osu or baylor.

Our ace is certainly Winston but you can not discredit the FSU defense. I think they can do it.

If the tide beats LSU, and Auburn beats Alabama, I still think they would probably take a one loss Alabama in the title game, even though Auburn beat them.....they sure as hell will not take Auburn because when they were undefeated they were not chosen. A two loss Alabama is the only way I see them out of the Championship game.....hell Northern Illinois is undefeated MAC conference......is a perfect record the only way into the championship game.......I don't think so.

I do not think Michigan State could beat Northern let alone Ohio State.
