Perhaps you confuse Bengazi 'being down-played' with it being 'a non-issue.'
For most Americans, Bengazi was a tragic event that hopefully will never happen again. Our ambassadors put their lives on the line whenever they go to a hotspot in the world for violence and anarchy. For most Americans, Bengazi is no-longer an issue. Only to the ultra-conservatives playing politics with a tragedy is it still an issue.
