There could have been reform without screwing over the millions who were satisfied with their insurance.
It's only meaningful if the people happy with Obamacare outnumber people who are unhappy. Remember, Obamacare was supposedly intended for the 20% of Americans who needed reform. Everyone else was told by Obama not to worry about all the Republican scare tactics because if they were happy with their insurance, nothing would happen.Sal wrote:lolNekochan wrote:Meaningless, Sal. No, quite meaningful, actually.
Eventually, people are going to open their eyes to the fact that reform is working pretty damn well in the states where it's being implemented as designed.
And, that will lead to the realization that it was Republican governors who sabotaged the plan.
What's quite meaningless, is you running around in circles screaming, "Liar, liar, pants on fire!!".
lol
Knothead asked on the Politics forum whether Romney, when campaigning, had ever called Obama a liar about the millions of Americans who would lose their insurance. That's why I looked up what Romney said and posted it.Floridatexan wrote:

I think that pretty much says it all. Moving along...
So, because he lost the election, you refuse to accept the truths he told?Floridatexan wrote:

Voters won't blame their governors for a program named OBAMAcare.
You are still believing what Obama told you to believe. Why? I am serious...why do you still believe him when he's already been so wrong?Sal wrote:Nekochan wrote:It's only meaningful if the people happy with Obamacare outnumber people who are unhappy. 20%
3%
See if you can figure out why you're screwed ...
The 93 million would not include military families, medicare, or medicaid....that's a lot of people looking at losing their coverage and facing significant increases in premiums, deductibles, and decreased coverage.Nekochan wrote:http://www.forbes.com/sites/theapothecary/2013/10/31/obama-officials-in-2010-93-million-americans-will-be-unable-to-keep-their-health-plans-under-obamacare/
93 Million Americans will be unable to keep their health plans.
93 million, if true, is a lot more than 3% or 20%.
Exactly!Nekochan wrote:Meaningless, Sal. Americans were lied to, either intentionally or because Obama didn't know what his plan said and none of his advisers told him.
