Wow!! What a tool for artists.

Wacom....a Japanese company.  I'm not surprised! 

We have Japanese friends who have a daughter who is an artist.  Back some years ago, my husband had Adobe Illustrator and he had gotten an updated version of it, as I recall...or something.  Anyway, he wasn't using that particular program anymore.  Our friend's daughter was a high school student at the time.  She was always drawing...she was a very artistic and smart girl.  Adobe illustrator was very expensive  in Japan.   So hubby gave his old program  to our friend's daughter.  She was beyond thrilled.    She later went on to attend and graduate from one of the top art schools in Tokyo. And last I heard, much to her parents' relief--she is employed in her field.  Not sure what kind of work she does, but  I bet she has one of these cintiqs now.
