The French president used his rhetoric to churn up the masses for his idiotic 75% tax on the wealthy, something even the idiots in Hollywood think it a good idea. What happened is about what you'd expect. Businesses can't operate if they don't know what the taxes will be, if you can't fire you don't hire, and the massive growth in the public sector to "create jobs" is nothing but a debt causes the need for even higher taxes. Their best and brightest are fleeing, but those with their hands our will be demanding more and more and more..
