The Republican-Controlled House of Rerpresentatives recently changed standing house-rules so only the senior majority member can open the House floor to a vote to re-open the government. Boehner won't budge, so the government remains closed.

Funny, how did Republicans get all of this power all of a sudden? Half a dozen bills have been sent to Obama or to the Senate and not one approved...so who is the liar now?

Let me explain it to you, Doofuss. If Boehner would allow standard House Rules to prevail, instead of a recent rule they established with HR-368, the vote on a CLEAN continuing resolution would be taken up, and moderate Republicans would join with the Democrats to open the government back up. The Teahadists, supported by people like you, are pressuring Boehner to keep party moderates subddued. Bonehead therefore will not allow the vote, because HR 368 says only the Speaker can bring measures to a vote now. The government continues to careen toward default, because of crazy-John and a bunch of Republican extremists.

That's okay, in the last two weeks, your side lost the House in 2014. I am sure you will be whining like a madman in your usual fashion after being steamrolled on November 4, 2014.

This thread is correct. It is a suicide pact for the Republican Party. Even the Koch brothers are going to want these nuts to stop......when will Markle change his material to reflect the same. The bottom line is that stupid and ignorant people are supporting this stupid tactic. Traditional republicans are not stupid, but now they are bound by this recent suicide pact. The government will have to take steps where a 5% group cannot hijack this democracy. The Puerto Rican terrorist who fired on Congress were less dangerous to this country than the traitors in our ranks. Tar and feather the bastards. Now the head wimp in the house Eric Cantor controls the house vote on this and how somebody like this got to a position where this much damage could be done to this nation...........I just do not understand

You guys have 2/3 of the government power...why are you BITCHING? IF you don't like the rules to the government, try AMENDING the CONSTITUTION or maybe this is the result of TARDS being in control too much for too long?
