If that was my mother they kidnapped and robbed then my own "law" would instruct me to execute them both when they make bail. My "law" would instruct me to find them and shoot them both in the back of the head and do it in a way in which there were no witnesses or anything else the government's "laws" could use to penalize me for it.
And my "law" would not give if a shit if they were Marines or Cub Scouts or Schoolboy Patrolmen. That would be irrelevant to my "law".
However, I have been told by the majority of posters to all these different forums that my law sucks. And instead the government "law" is preferable.
The law which says taxpayers should pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to try them and incarcerate them and provide them food, shelter, clothing and medical care for an extended period.

It is part of the cost to being a cultured civilization. Where there is a due process to address violators of those laws. Otherwise we would end up being like the tribalistic culture and laws of Afghanistan where it's the Hatfields and McCoys feud and people are executed because a tribal leader decides it so.

We are discussing a situation in which two animals victimize an old woman and I said if it was MY MOTHER I would want them to die.
And your liberal perspective on this is that the two animals and the two victims are like "hatfields and mccoys".
Bullshit. When a rabid animal uses violence to victimize a helpless person there is no moral equivalence between that rabid animal and his victim.
