Unless the public can option out there is no option..........remember, it's a tax.

Obama originally wanted the public option.  Republicans wouldn't go for that, so now we get the crappy republican mandate from the 90's.

As I recall there wasn't a single Republican that voted to pass any part of Obamacare. This Obamacare legislation rides completely on the Democrats shoulders.

I think there were two, though that wasn't the point.

I think there were two, though that wasn't the point.

Yes, it is the point and the "TWO" were Independents who caucus with the Democrats.

The "Cornhusker Kickback" - For Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., "a provision exempting his state from paying the usual share of costs for new Medicaid patients." The deal is expected to cost taxpayers $100 million over 10 years.

The second "Louisiana Purchase" - Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., won an estimated $300 million in extra federal spending.

From Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., - a $100 million provision "anonymously" stuck into the package, money that Dodd wants to go to the University of Connecticut's medical center. According to the AP, at first Dodd didn't want to claim credit for that one, but he eventually confessed. Steve Ellis, vice president of Taxpayers for Common Sense, a spending watchdog group, estimates that Dodd has secured 92 earmarks worth at least $121 million for Connecticut. "Not bad for a senator who isn't even on the Appropriations Committee," Ellis added.

Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., - won language in the bill that could give North Dakota an additional $650 million in Medicaid reimbursements over the next decade.

Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., - won an exemption for nonprofit insurers (read, "Blue Cross Blue Shield," which controls 70 percent of Michigan's health insurance market) from a big excise tax.

Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., - helped tighten language that would allow Michigan hospitals to receive higher Medicare payments along with Connecticut. The cost? About $21 million.

Three airports in the district of infamous fence-sitting and ultimately kowtowing Democrat Bart Stupak were awarded $726,409 in grants by the Obama administration just two days before a vote on Obama and Pelosi’s government takeover of healthcare

A threat to take away Connecticut Independent Senator Joe Lieberman's committee chairmanship unless he falls into line.

Ten billion dollars in community health centers to buy off Vermont's self avowed (Independent) Socialist Bernie Sanders.

Obama/Pelosi Health Care....IF it is so good for our country, why are THEY exempt and it takes billions in bribes to get even DEMOCRATS to vote for this train wreck?
The Senate's ObamaCare bill is crammed full of billions of dollar of bribes:

$100,000,000 of bribes to Senator Ben Nelson, the Cornhusker Kickback.

$300,000,000 of bribes to Louisiana's Senator Mary Landrieu. The Louisiana Purchase

A new ($100 MILLION) hospital in Connecticut for morally challenged Senator Chris Dodd.

Roughly ten billion in community health centers to buy off Vermont's Bernie Sanders.

An exemption of Bill Nelson's Florida constituents from the Medicare Advantage cuts applicable to everyone else.

A threat to take away Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman's committee chairmanship unless he falls into line.

NOW they have added a complete takeover of the Sallie Mae…who is Sallie Mae? Well, if passed ALL student loans would be made by the government. Government approved loan, schools and courses. If you’re taking over a country, just do it all at once!

What is Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) willing to do to get this passed? ANYTHING.

Tyrant Pelosi on Slaughter Rule: “I Like It Because People Don’t Have to Vote On the Senate Bill” That’s where they vote on a rule that says that the bill they have NOT voted on…is DEEMED to have been passed….

Also Ms. Pelosi has stated:

“We Have to Pass Our Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It”

Also…The Debate Over Obamacare Will Begin After the Bill Is Passed

Is this the USA you are familiar with or is this the new way to get things done?

Well, now, you are being told this has to pass although it is filled with bribes and corruption --- and to pass it WITHOUT A SINGLE CHANGE.

Not a single bribe will come out of the bill which Pelosi and Obama are now DEMANDING that the House pass by March 18.

Is this the USA you are familiar with or is this the new way to get things done?

It is now isn't it?
