When the Florida pastor, Terry Jones was about to burn the Koran, the evangelicals were all coming to his defense. Now your holy book has been ripped to shreds by a Jewish lawmaker and not a single word from any of these so called Christians. Why is that? Is your support for the Jews so set in concrete that you dare not utter a single disparaging comment about these Zionists? Hypocrites, hypocrites, hypocrites.

An Israeli lawmaker has torn up a copy of the New Testament in front of cameras in his parliament office.

They should tear up all of those kind of books or put them in the fairy tale section.

The bible is just paper and ink. It is not an object of veneration. We are not wacko Islamics that go berserk at the destruction of a book. I'd like to think we are better than that.

Since we are occupiers of Islamic countries and not particularly welcome there, it makes sense to show respect for the beliefs of the populace. (Even if we think it is much ado over nothing.)

You are right, but they sure come to the defense of Terry Jones when he wanted to burn the Koran(another article of paper and ink). They defend that with tenacity and remain eerily silent when their holy book is shredded.

Ghost_Rider, I agreed with those that thought it was a bad idea for Terry Jones to burn the Koran.

Huh?

It was only because we have thousands of troops over there in harms way and Terry Jones' action would have put our troops at a higher risk. No need to incite those crazy bastards any more than we already have...
