Oops...just like with ObamaCare, the voter does not want it but the Progressives push to seize and capitalize on a tragedy. Standing on the backs of dead adults and children. Shameful.

Gallup: Only 4% of Americans Think Gun Control is an Important Problem

April 16, 2013

By Michael James

(CNSNews.com) – Only 4 percent of Americans think guns and gun control are an important problem facing the country, according to Gallup, and far more Americans are concerned about the economy, unemployment and the federal debt.

In its poll from Apr. 4-7, Gallup surveyed 1,005 adults by telephone and asked, “What do you think is the most important problem facing the country today?”

Respondents answered in the following order:

Economy in general 24%

Unemployment/Jobs 18%

Dissatisfaction with Government 16%

Federal budget deficit/Federal debt 11%

Healthcare 6%

Ethical/Moral/Family decline 5%

Immigration/Illegal aliens 4%

Education 4%

Guns/Gun control 4%

gee......and what does that say..........that in order of importance.....it is equal to immigration issues......amazing that our congress is addressing 4% issues.......but if you ask me......I would trump your percentages.......I would say 90% concern with my family......and 10% concern with government solutions to anything.....so that means that gun control in my life is 4% of 10% or .04% concern......now that we have clarified the numbers.......exactly what is your point......ohhhhh Mr. Kotter, people do not care about immigration and gun control.......really? Well yes Seaoat........4% proves the same.

It doesn't work that way SEAOAT. I've listed to everyone post and rant about the polls on this issue and everyone swears to GOD that Americans felt that something HAD to be done about guns. Too bad. It's obvious that Americans wish the POTUS would focus on something other than gay marriage, gun control, and shoving a worthless healthcare plan down our throats. I'm tired of the excuses about polls to who runs them too because you, the FT, Sal, Broomrider and others rant and rave when a poll is going your way. FEW IF ANY PEOPLE WANT TO HAVE GUN CONTROL IN THE FORM AND FASHION THAT OBAMA WANTS IT. Sell it somewhere else. Good luck though because the MAJORITY OF PEOPLE DO NOT CARE.

Remember when BUSH I ran against Clinton? There were signs in the crowd that read this:

"It's the ECONOMY stupid."

Never more true than now.

Uh huh. But 90% of the public supported the BG check bill.

Cognitive Dissonance.

Nanny Bloomberg....Feinstein...vp and cowh are the ones that seem to be the most upset...maybe there are still Americans that believe in the Constitution/Second Amendment....no wonder that list is ticked...

Something needs to be done about those damn pressure cookers also.

Perhaps serial numbers on each one sold, restricted number per customer, two week waiting period, etc...

Go to a few garage or estate sales and you can buy all you want. I have one in the kitchen that belonged to my mother. Still works perfectly fine. Every eight or ten years I buy a new seal and it's good as new.

I hope and pray that these soulless individuals bought them at a brick and mortar store with great video surveillance cameras.

So part of the job to get this legislation in the works is already done idiot.

Now all that needs to be done is have everyone do their safety course on pressure cookers, get background checks done to see if they can own one, if they can buy one they'll have a waiting period, and all that other stuff that firearm owners go through.

Otherwise they could end up singing those...

Isn't he the same guy who got away with killing 2 women? He had to pay the last family 1.5 million. Besides, he sold A/B an American company to InBev. Bud is no longer brewed the same, it's a fact.

So your response means that we can put the same legislative restrictions on cars, for sales and who can and can't buy, that we have on firearms: i.e. the same background checks, waiting periods, etc...?

It's all just a game of distractions with smoke and mirrors. Don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain.

You've been warned.

Just out of curiosity. Hey Damaged. What part of Iowa are you from? I used to live in Sioux Falls, SD, and I have travelled to Iowa many times in my day. Just curious if I ever came near you.
