Company lays off 75% of its workers and has not produced a car in over a year.

Lou Dobbs put it best. The company outsourced every part of this car. It didn't even own the intellectual property associated with it and then when a car was provided to test, it broke down just after the test started.

Wasted taxpayer dollars.

The Obama Administration has now done more to delay the transition to electric cars than any other entity. The oil companies could spend a billion dollars to propagandize against electric cars and they wouldn't have been as effective as what Obama has given them for free.

I think it's just because Obama and his advisors are not competent enough to be making technology decisions. But I have never seen a president yet who is.

What did you think he was going to be competent at in 2008?

The Gov has no place picking winners and losers in the market. Sure, they can set aside a small amount to use for grants each year to encourage great minds to create great things. But that's not what they are doing. They are taking our tax dollars and investing it in unproven entities and forking it out to prop up large to big to fail biz. That is misrepresentation of our funds.
