Come on down, Texas always welcomes people who respect the consitution, one type of person I do get annoyed at when they move to Texas are Californians who move here and bring their liberal Voting Habits with them like they don't even realize the reason they had to move here for a job was because they voted in too many socialists in their stupid state, california has so many natural resources out there it should be far and away the most prosperous state in the nation but because of liberalism it is 100% bankrupt.

Oh your not even close. Nor are you even vaguely aware. As a Californian -home of Pelosi, Feinstein, & Boxer - we lead the country.
Unemployment - no one comes close
Debt - don't even think about competing
Taxes - rising like a bullet on the charts
Illegals - we got more than all ya put together
Liberals - we have San Francisco, beat that
Socialism, communism. communeism - we shine
if its stupid Law, unconstitutional Law, Anti- Gun Law - nobody tops us
We even lead the Nation in fastest exodus of Businesses Out of a State - in record time and volume
Yes sir, The Great State of California, Bastion and Shinning Star of the Democratic Party. We show how its done.
On a side note, As I was neither born here or raised here, I only ask that you give me time to change my plates. But if you see a USC, UCLA, etc., sticker in the rear window, give em a sporting chance - if its UC Berkely, shoot.

I was born and raised in California and also graduated from UC Berkeley. I used to be an extreme liberal, but then I started paying attention to alternative points of view. Pretty soon I realized I had been completely duped. I started reading and learning and growing and observing and realizing just how insane the leftist point of view is. Now I am a staunch conservative. Every day I see tons of examples of the utter stupidity and hypocrisy of the left, and yet, almost EVERYONE I know is a liberal, and many of my friends are extreme leftists. What I don't understand is how they have not been awakened as I have, and I really cannot make heads nor tails of it. I have many extremely smart and powerful friends who buy into the most illogical liberal arguments imaginable (e.g., "Christian capitalists are fine with spending tax money on killing but not on healing" when arguing that Obamacare is a good idea - that is such stupidity how can any thinking person not scoff at it). I would love nothing more than to leave this state, but am stuck here due to family obligations. In the meantime, I can barely tolerate the constant groupthink stupidity of my leftist circle of friends. I type this all out though for one reason: I know it is possible for people to see the light and convert from the haze of liberalism, even when they have been fully indoctrinated. I hold out hope for others.
