In other news, unemployment forecast to stay stubbornly high.

Only dirty hippies see the correlation.

I think your title might have conveniently left this part out didn't it?

"however, because of the pressures of an aging population, rising health care costs, an expansion of federal subsidies for health insurance, and growing interest payments on federal debt. As a result, federal debt held by the public is projected to remain historically high relative to the size of the economy for the next decade. By 2023, if current laws remain in place, debt will equal 77 percent of GDP and be on an upward path, CBO projects"

Not to mention obama is pushing for MORE tax increases... on top of the one last month and obamacare.

As it stands now they are projecting 600b in new revenue and about 16b in govt cuts... are y'all sure he's trying to help?

"MISLEADING AGAIN" The drop in deficit released by the CBO will ONLY HAPPEN IF THE ENTIRE SEQUESTRATION GOES INTO EFFECT AND STAYS!

President Barack Hussein Obama has said we should NOT allow sequestration go into effect AND it was HIS (President Obama) IDEA. President Obama has already said we need MORE SPENDING!

Wait until Sequestration goes by the wayside and where our DEBT will be at that time.

The Stock Market thrives as a relatively few people take greed to an unheralded pinnacle of wealth while the bulk of the country slowly fades into obscurity because of unnecessary wars instigated by Big Business to further enrich themselves as American Military die or are maimed for ever.

Neither the Republican side OR the Democrat side are serious about reducing the deficit. The Republicans will not give an inch on reducing defense spending, which must shrink considerably to allow this to happen. As well, the Democrats will not give an inch on entitlements, which must also shrink considerably.

Oh well, both will shrink when the economy finally collapses.

And Baby Boomers think their Social Security is secure? They had better be wary. The generations that follow have already given up on this entitlement. Boomer Social Security is likely also in jeopardy.
