Two separate deputy-involved accidents sent at least two people to the hospital overnight.

The first crash involving a Escambia County Sheriff’s Office patrol car occurred around 2:15 a.m. at Pensacola Boulevard and Burgess Road, according to Escambia County Emergency Medical Services.

One person was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to EMS personnel. It is unclear if the person injured was a deputy.

The second accident occurred a short time later, just before 3 a.m., at Davis Highway and Olive Road, and also involved an Escambia County deputy, according to officials.

One person was injured in the crash and was taken to the local hospital, according to EMS. The identity of that person was not immediately available.

More details on the accidents will be posted as they become available
