Hey lets just be grateful he wasn't drunk behind the wheel and plowed into them while they were at recess or we might have to ban alcohol! No

It would seem that your link is outdated and BS by NBC. Katie Pavlich, the author of this article cites the very same NBC report that you linked to. Your link is dated December 15th and she retracted her statement on December 27th. I would trust the word of the coroner over an anonymous poster any day.

Earlier today I posted an NBC News report about the type of weapons Adam Lanza used during his Sandy Hook rampage. That report was from December 15 and contained false information. According to the Newtown coroner, Lanza used a semi-automatic AR-15, not four handguns as the report said. The entire post has been retracted. I apologize for the error.

Tell me why the coroner stated that the wounds to the victims were made with a .223 caliber rifle. Your story was recorded on the 15th, the retraction was made yesterday. If you still believe that no assault weapon was used, then I have some prime ocean front property in Arizona for sale.

Oh and the retraction comes from one of the most conservative publications in America. So with that then you are disputing your own conservative views.

Nor will it mine. I am not scared of a damn thing and hey I also do not believe that assault weapons should be banned. I'm on your side in this case. I am just disputing your erroneous information.

The assault weapon ban as I said earlier is a waste of time. We need gun registration and gun safety legislation. It starts with biometric trigger locks, chipped guns, dynamic smart card foid cards, and control modules in cars......it is that simple. Too many waivers and keeping weapons in folks hands means the legislation does nothing. We need an inventory....and a method of keeping law abiding guns out of the hands of folks who have no right to those guns.

Was having a conversation with my dad today about our discussion, specifically gun registration. He reminded me of FOPA (Firearm Owners Protection Act) of 1986. You might want to read it.

"No such rule or regulation prescribed after the date of the enactment of the Firearms Owners’ Protection Act may require that records required to be maintained under this chapter or any portion of the contents of such records, be recorded at or transferred to a facility owned, managed, or controlled by the United States or any State or any political subdivision thereof, nor that any system of registration of firearms, firearms owners, or firearms transactions or dispositions be established. Nothing in this section expands or restricts the Secretary's 1 authority to inquire into the disposition of any firearm in the course of a criminal investigation."
