Will we go over the fiscal cliff?

The GOP may be in disarray but not so much so as to allow this to happen.

Even this "cliff" doesn't even come close to balancing the budget... much less paying down the debt... it's more like a curb.

Two TRILLION dollars should be plenty to run the govt... try to imagine that number... it's idiocy that it's not enough.

So out of curiosity I decided to look up the US population by year and federal government spending by year in order to get an idea as to how spending per-capita has changed over time.

when I saw that with the first offer they wanted unlimited power to raise the debt ceiling whenever they wanted and not have to go threw congress. I know right then, we will go over.

now they will just toss a few rediulus bills at eah other all knowing were going over.

as you can see from that graph they decided to spend spend during the depression era, and it never stopped did it?
